Several wrestling websites are reporting that Kurt Angle may be removed from the BFG Series due to his DWI arrest.
As a result of Angle's arrest, TNA were forced to change a match at Saturday's live event. The original plan called for Angle to take on Kazarian. But instead, they had Bad Influence (Kazarian and Daniels) compete against TNA Tag Team Champions Gunner and James Storm in a non-title match.
One of the BFG Series rules state that every participant must have at least one BFG Series match against all of the other participants. Angle's impending court dates and trip to rehab will mean that he cannot complete the series. This will disqualify him from the competition.
HOWEVER, Kurt Angle is NOT in the BFG Series!
Angle failed to qualify for this year's competition after losing his spot to A.J. Styles. But Angle is involved with the Main Event Mafia story line.
Angle's arrest do not change current plans. Angle is expected to compete in the 'MEM vs Aces 'n' Eights' match. The person who gets pinned will be "fired" from TNA. Plans for after this match are not set in stone, and therefore TNA can still work around this.
