Weird Problem (SvR 2010 - Orton Mod)

I imported baal's Kazarian mod over Orton & the entrance goes along perfect, but when it goes to in ring. He is still Orton no matter how many times in import into slot 2.


Also out of curiosity, is it safe to write over Cena & name change? Because he is the forst one it shows and i didn't know if he is changed if it will scree up my game.

02 is the entrance slot
just import to 01 so you will see Kazarian in-ring read the Readme file of svredit all the infos are there

He meant if Cena can be replaced with someone (Change for Kaz as example) renaming John Cena to Kaz.
Because he think maybe will freze cause Cena is the first one on Selection Screen.

nothing happens if you write other name over cena,cena slot only affect the game when you delete the model references or when you change his number of attires

Not quite so...

Open up the arc file in a hex editor. Do a search for 13901

Here, you will see 6 Cena models. For some reason, it goes 13901, 13902, 13904, 13911, 13912, 13904 again.

In the last number sequence, change the 0 to a 1. It should now read, 13914. Save the arc file and now try it.

i know , i did that. I replaced both slots 1 & 2 & it still comes up Orton inring.

well i guess i have to have retarded cena in my game then, cause i can't hex to save my ass.....

are you sure you are playing the iso with the modifications made?

try searching in the arc file, maybe you have two Orton references..

Yep i'm sure, i play on my modded PS2 with FMC/HDD combo. I will try again later. Thanks for all the help guys.

I don't use a save file yet, I have alot to do to my game i want done. Untill it is finished, i won't save. I just test out the models and what have you & see if what i added works and if it does, i make a backup of the files & start adding a little more to it.

Then I do not understand what you are doing wrong. Orton can be replaced. I have done it almost everytime that I have made a patch.

what wrestlers can't be replaced, like who am i stuck with besides Cena?

All of them can be, except Hornswoggle and Druid Monk.

You will need to use the hex edit approach to remove Cena's special attire.

Druid monk can be replaced, but whoever you replace him with will appear in Undertaker entrances.

Hornswoggle's slot is rigged to only work for Hornswoggle, so is therefore unplayable with any other models.

All 00 models should be left as is, apart from Doctor. But then again, there are no other 00 models available. These are the ring announcers Garcia, Roberts and Chimmel.
