What Happened To DX/Hall of Fame Induction?

We had reported prior to the announcement of Bruno Sammartino going into the Hall of Fame at Madison Square Garden that D-Generation X was the front-runner to join Mick Foley on top of this year's class. I've since learned that while that idea was certainly being discussed, it would have likely not happened, regardless of Bruno's involvement.

Vince McMahon was said to be the one really pushing for the DX induction this year. However, Hunter was said to be resisting that decision, for now. He wants to go into he Hall of Fame by himself before being inducted with D-Generation X. He would have likely won that battle in the end.

There was no talk of putting Hunter in by himself this particular year, as he'll be working more matches in the future.

If Bruno Sammartino was not worked out for this year's HOF class, I'm hearing that Kevin Nash most likely would have been the co-headliner along with Mick Foley.[/quote]

Inducting Nash in the same year as Backlund or Foley would have been daft. The only point in Backlund's career people would focus on is his rapid loss to Diesel. And Nash's feuds with Foley in TNA would've been highlighted.

And anyway, Bruno Sammartino is a superior legend. He should not get lower billing than anyone, except maybe Hulk Hogan (who is already in) or Vince McMahon, Jr.

Triple H is right to hold of on a DX induction. It would only devalue his individual induction (which will happen). And Shawn Michaels was inducted rather recently. It would hurt the HoF to have another 2-time inductee so close to Ric Flair's last year.

Also, It's too early to Induct DX into The Hall Of Fame. Wait 3-4 Years again and then You have a Perfect Time to Induct DX to The Hall Of Fame.

And One Thing: WWE need to have it's own Hall Of Fame Building. If they want to have a Legit Hall Of Fame, They need to have it's own Hall Of Fame Building (To showcase The History of The Old School WWE, Such as The Golden Era Memorabilia, The New Generation Archived Photos, Stone Cold and Big Boss Man Vest etc etc).

I don't think Triple H will be inducted next year either. He will not want to go in on the same year as Undertaker's induction. He will want to be the headliner, and NO-ONE is going to accept Triple H as a bigger star than Undertaker. But after two more classes, the number of deserving people will be quite thin. It will be hard finding people who are not currently working for the company to go in.

I reckon that both Big Show and Kane will be inducted shortly after they retire too.

Kane has so many Accomplishment in The WWE, And The Big Show is a Great Wrestler with a Great Accomplishment (He also play a Major Part in The N.W.O).

Man, I would like to see Kane use His Debut Attire when He was being Inducted into The Hall Of Fame
