John Cena jumped onto Twitter to address some rumours yesterday. This left many people confused because he did not mention what rumours he was addressing. And nothing else had been reported about the current WWE Champion.

There are 2 theories. The first is regarding a news article about Elizabeth Huberdeau. The article claimed that Cena had filed for divorce from his wife, but she was refusing to give it to him. This was particularly strange as the divorce was finalised almost a year ago. The media outlet who reported this admitted that the story was a year old, and do not know why it was re-posted.

The second theory is about rumoured bad feeling between John Cena and Daniel Bryan. It had been reported for months that Cena was due to defeat Bryan in a pay-per-view title defense. The match in question kept being pushed back and is now happening at SummerSlam. Rumour had it that it was John Cena's idea to bury Bryan in order to help Cena look strong.

Do not expect this issue to become any clearer. It is not likely that Cena will address this issue again.

Cena defeat Bryan at SummerSlam? OH HELL NO!
Cena want to ruin Bryan's momentum? WAKE UP, CENA!
Cena want people to see him as a strong man by defeating Bryan? THAT WON'T HAPPEN!
Cena still as the WWE champion after SummerSlam? OH HELL F'N NO!

I don't stand up for Cena often, but I don't think having Bryan job to him was his idea. I think it was all Vince. Just like the ideas of Cena destroying The Rock, Ryback and Mark Henry in quick succession.

Bryan was overlooked by the WWE for many years at Triple H's discretion. Triple H was jealous of the fact that he was the biggest star on the Raw brand, and a persistant World Heavyweight Champion, but yet Bryan Danielson was more over than him. He repeatedly told Vince McMahon not to give him a try out, and then claimed that the fact that he hadn't gotten a try out was proof that he wasn't that good. Triple H also disapproved of someone with such a skinny physique being considered better than him.

Bryan and Nigel McGuinness were only offered contracts to hurt the Ring Of Honor roster when it finally got a TV deal.
