The wrestling world has been rocked by the news of two sudden wrestler deaths.

TheDoctor has already reported on the death of AAA wrestler El Hijo del Perro Aguayo. Former WWE star Rey Mysterio dropkicked El Hijo in order to set him up for the 619. El Hijo dived and hit the ring ropes throat first. The plan was for El Hijo and partner Manik to avoid the 619 by moving out of the way. Manik did but El Hijo did not, causing Manik to become concerned. The match continued, but El Hijo was pulled out of the ring after he failed to move for a few minutes. Konnan attempted to revive him at ringside before he was rushed to hospital. The official medical verdict was that El Hijo died of whiplash to the trachea.

Southern California wrestler Cincinnati Red also died yesterday. The 40-year-old died after a heart attack. Local promoter Jesse Hernandez broke the news on Facebook.

Hernandez claimed that he and Red met again after several years at Bob Bradley, Sr's funeral. The two reconciled and then spent the next few hours with friends. Hernandez joked about Red needing to change his diet because of his diabeties. Red left the group early because he wasn't feeling well, but then had to be taken to hospital. After an emergency operation to clear clogged arteries, Red suffered a heart attack. Red did not recover.

Many wrestlers have posted messages of condolence for both men. Here is one of the most encouraging messages from MVP.

We all tend to take tomorrow for granted. When we drive to work in the morning we expect to come home after work. It's a given right? When professional wrestlers climb into the ring we understand and know the dangers. We work hard to minimize them. But they're ever present. 'Death defying' is a very literal description of many elements of pro wrestling. Some of these amazing athletes make it look so easy. Tell the important people in your life that you love them. Make that call you've been too busy to make. That trip you haven't had time for. Tomorrow is promised to no one. Brothers & sisters that lace'em up... Tonight, say a prayer, raise a glass. Do what you do. Honor Perro Aguayo Jr & respect our ring. If I go suddenly, without a chance to say goodbye, know I had a blast! It's been one hell of a ride so far. My life had been a movie.

Great words from MVP. Wrestlers rarely get the respect they deserve.
