Alright kids, enough GM Mode/Attitude Era arguing bullshit. This is a WWE 2K16 topic, and we're gonna keep it that way. Here's some more details about the information released today.
First, the IGN article that started it all: http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/08...t page)&utm_content=5&utm_campaign=Coverstory
Here's a few small details about the article itself:
-Restates the "120 unique character models" news that's been shoved down our throats and yet we have no clear idea what it means yet
-Chain grappling has more transitions and moves with different effects and impacts based on the abilities and attribute values
-Reversals are now in limited stock, making the game less of a reversal mini-game and putting more strategy into the matches. Each wrestler has a certain reversal stock based on their attributes, using a reversal stock means the next will regenerate over time, and there are two different types of reversals (normal reversals that use one stock, or mid-move reversals that take up two stock BUT have more impact and open up the possibility to change the match)
-New Pinning and Submission systems. Both use circles and it isn't clear how the submission system works but the pinning system is the same except for being in a circle. In the gameplay video there is a "Rope Break" option when one of the superstars are being pinned close to the ropes
And here's some info separated from that above because it's HUGE:
-MyCareer is back, and this time it goes a lot further, all the way to you gaining admission to the WWE Hall of Fame.
-Create a Diva, Create a Show, Create an Arena, and Create a Championship are back in!
-WWE Universe: Wrestlers can now be booked to multiple shows
-Online has been "overhauled."
-Three-man commentary team, with John "Bradshaw" Layfield joining King and Cole.
-Ladder, handicap, and tornado tag match types added back in.
-No loading screens between entrances, and you can assault opponents during their entrance!
-Improved ref and manager AI.
Finally, the article comes with three videos and screenshots. The first video is the gameplay footage already posted, but the second and third videos are entrances of Finn Bálor and Seth Rollins. The screenshots show Finn Bálor, Stone Cold's entrance, Wade Barrett, and Daniel Bryan.
For more info, here's some videos. Remember, these clips come from a alpha version of the game. Lots of improvements to be made.
