After a long streak of pointless lists, the WWE website has finally published another countdown worthy of debate.
This time, WWE.com has compiled a list of the greatest heroes of all time. The criteria is very simple: who has been the most effective good guys during their combined stints in WWE, WCW, AWA, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, NWA and ECW? Only career highlights during their times as babyfaces count. As a result, while stars like Roddy Piper and Shane McMahon were hugely popular, their standing is hurt by the fact that they portrayed villains for most of their careers.
And the list carries quite a few surprises too.
