Del Rio was one of my favorites to watch in the ring, and this bums me out.

The amount of free agents in wrestling right now is interesting, though. I have a dream that perhaps Jeff could channel the spirit of Jerry and turn GFW into something really interesting.

If it is even going to happen, but the sheer amount of available talent is really exciting. AJ vs Del Rio would be siiiiiiick.

I'll miss him. He never really grabbed anyone's attention since he was boring, but he definitely had skill and ring ability. His early 2013 face run was probably the best of his career in terms of being able to connect with the crowd, just wish it lasted longer. He probably won't go anywhere else, it seems like he's been ready to retire for a while.

And the lesson is: pushing people too fast is BAD. Because crap like this will happen.

He was in Mexico and Japan entertaining a different style of audience for 10 years.

Hopefully he will have a bright future else where, GFW or IGF could do alot with him (his precise submission style and mma background will be great for both companies)

I hope TNA doesn't pick him up...maybe a feud with Lashley, but I have a feeling they won't be able to add anything.

TNA have been losing money, and fact, that they hired half of ECW doesn't making their money situation better.

@CRW's TKS: Yes AAA ic coming to the US and in particular will be seen on El Rey TV. Thic can be a great thing for that promotion: I know that in USA the "mexican style" is one of the favourite because is spectacular. And with ADR they will be followed by a lot of fan of the Aristocratic Champion.
