So looking at this your Save file is fine.

Your textures aren't loading.

Three things can cause this...

You are using the wrong Graphics Plugin. See the Help Folder for the settings.

You don't have the "Load hi-res textures if available" setting turned on. Look in the Help Folder for the settings.

Or, your textures folder is in the wrong place. This is also shown in the Help Folder.

It should be Project 64 / Plugin / hires_texture / WWF No Mercy / (all texture folders go here)

i moved the folders, now the rom starts to boot up, checks through numerous things, then after it does the checking, it crashes.

If you're on Windows 10, run Project 64 as an admin and change it to Windows 7 compatibility mode.

It's recognising the Textures then at this point and the Rom is Loading.

That means your crash is likely a settings issue.

Switch between Direct X and OpenGL to see which works best for you.

Right click Project 64, click "Properties". There, you should see a tab called "Compatibility". Click that, and there, you should tick the "Run this program as an administrator" box, and then tick the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" box, and select "Windows 7". This usually fixes crashing issues with the Rice plugin, the graphical plugin used for this project.

Try changing Compatibility to Windows XP Service Pack 1, 2 or 3 (or try all of them).

Does the program just close after loading textures or does an error message appear?
Can you get to the menus?

Also, stick with 1.6.

Have a look in your settings for Plugins.

Under Video (graphics) plugin, see if you can choose a different Rice Plugin to 6.1.4. Perhaps an earlier one (6.1.3.3 for example)

here are a few pictures, the first two show it loading, the third is after the loading is done, and the forth is what it does right before it crashes

If an older Rice version didn't work, swap that back to 6.1.4.

In Settings / General settings, change CPU core style to Recompiler or Interpreter (try both).

OK, try un-ticking all of the cheats and see if it runs without those turned on.
