Citing multiple sources, GiantBomb says Microsoft has decided to remove a laundry list of Xbox One restrictions that customers considered negative:

No more always online requirement
The console no longer has to check in every 24 hours
All game discs will work on Xbox One as they do on Xbox 360
Authentication is no longer necessary
An Internet connection is only required when initially setting up the console
All downloaded games will function the same when online or offline
No additional restrictions on trading games or loaning discs
Region locks have been dropped

I don't believe a word of it, just yesterday I read a interview that said even with retrictions they are giving you more than you are paying for. I will try and find it and post it in here.

Its true, they had an interview with microsoft today and here's the whole thing http://news.xbox.com/2013/05/qa
I stand corrected, BUT I still don't have any plans to buy one, it reminds me too much of a criminal who swears I HAVE CHANGED! and you find them out in an alley in the dark selling drugs. Get rid of stupid kinnect and we might talk. Also this may explain what I read earlier that gamestop has pulled the preorder abilty from their system. Because I don't believe they can change all of this before the holliday release date imo.

Microsoft just realized they were failing big time with the first prototype they had in store,so they're kinda trying to stop Xbox fanboys from jumping to the Playsation.

Wow what the fuck?

Honestly, Microsoft are fucking dickheads. I respect they listened to the people, but they already fucked it up for themselves when they announced the bullshit they were planning for the XBOX one. Suddenly, they are shitting themselves because sales will be shite, and now they decide they will correct those retarded decisions.

Even if Xbox One has new policies, I'm sure most people (Especially professional in gaming industry) were already pissed off with Microsoft and Xbox One. Just take a look at Sony E3 Conference, Where Sony "Indirectly" mock Microsoft's Xbox One by announcing that PS4 doesn't need 24-hour authentication, People cheered very loud for PS4. That already show us that most professional in gaming industry were already pissed off with Microsoft and Xbox One, And even if Microsoft has this new policies on Xbox One, It doesn't change anything (Except for those Xbox Fanboy who jump ship to PS4, They will surely back to Xbox One).

I do not give credit for taking back bad decisions, especially after they were telling people to "Deal with it", how about not make those bad decisions in the first place?

You will need to update for the new policies, so people who have no internet connection for whatever reason (Yes that is still a problem in 2013, I have friends who cannot get higher than a phone internet connection where they live) are still screwed.
