ClicDev is, in all likelihood, not coming back, so I guess I'm here now.
For those who don't know me: I'm Onslaught Six. I essentially co-founded the No Mercy Zone circa 2004 with Boostfalp and CEX. I was an administrator for a while, got banned, patched things up, became an admin again. I was the one who initiated a lot of NMZ's...draconian policies, partially because all of the admins agreed on it and partially because I was going through a rough bout of depression and taking it out on pretty much the entire forum. It wasn't pretty and I regret running the place like that.
For those who do know me: NMZ started literally a decade ago. If you don't think people can change in that amount of time, you're stupid. We were just kids when we started that forum. We didn't know what the fuck we were doing, and we certainly didn't expect it to basically become the largest No Mercy forum on the entire internet (for a time).
I'm not here to start any shit. I'm not here to cause drama or do any of that. I'm here because, through it all, I still love No Mercy and I still love making things for it.
I don't know what the "standards" are for this kind of shit, and frankly at this point I don't care. The way I mod the game directly relates to the game being good. NM was, to our minds, infinitely modifiable with Gameshark codes and in-game replacements; when textures came out, Stubbs and I were literally sitting around with MSPaint drawing blue all over the Undertaker's face and chest just to see if it worked. (These were the very first NM texture mods ever made.) I saw a way to expand the game and put in things that just simply weren't there, but I still always wanted the game to be No Mercy. Other people didn't share that view, and the "hi-res texture" warfare broke out and in the end, I'm pretty sure my side lost.
In spite of that, I still make stuff occasionally. I'm going to start off by posting some of my old codes that I rescued a few months before NMZ shut down permanently, and then I guess I'll put up my new stuff.
Don't expect a lot; NM is a hobby and it comes and goes for me. My main focus is my music, which is actually not shitty now. So, check that out if you want:
