Dave Meltzer noted on last night's edition of Figure Four Daily that WWE head writer David Kreizman has given his notice, and will be finishing up with the company this Friday.

Kreizman was promoted to the position last March after Eric Pankowski left the company. Kreizman, a daytime Emmy winner, had only been working for the company for a few months before being promoted. While no official reason was given for his departure, Meltzer noted that the constant script changes and last minute re-writes were likely a factor.

We noted last week that WWE was looking for a new head writer, and they posted a job listing for the position. They also have separate job listings for a lead writer for RAW and SmackDown. According to a source close to the situation, morale is low and there is a certain feeling of uneasiness within creative because the company has posted job openings for several positions currently held by staff members, some long-term members of the creative team.[/quote]
