One more thing to remember; Paul Heyman's client, Brock Lesnar, broke the streak.

PS3 firmware hacking is indeed a slippery slope to open the door to open discussion of other types of piracy.
Keep in mind, when modding WWE'13/2k14, you need a flashed/CFW device... And those type of mods are available here. Also, just remember, I'm from South Africa, here we pay per megabyte used, and the tariff is unbearable, I don't have that type of money, hell, downloading a freeware program is too much money for me. :p I'm too stingy when it comes to that, so I purchase all the games I own, that's why I asked about PS2 games in the first post after all.

EDIT: Oh! Also, you know modding is also considered illegal when looking at it from your perspective, you take it harder than the company itself. Example would be Rockstar Games, they even allow reverse engineering! Where you edit the engine itself, don't see EA Games suing GTAForums.

Lax standards?

I'm sorry, but I've poured a ton of work into this place. And being as Goatcheese didn't post any links to any warez or torrents, he doesn't violate the terms of service given to us by zetaboards. This isn't lowering our standard, and the fact I just got a lecture about standards and practices here is laughable. SLX is my pal, and you are my friend, Slim, but you are completely wrong. OSR is NOT NMZ, it is NOT TWR, and I will be damned if I let it go that route. Yes, this isn't your first time being a mod somewhere, but you were a mod at a dying forum, you have no clue what it's like to run a bvoard, edit the CSS and try to juggle all of the egos that comes with heavy traffic like OSR does.

Nice to know THIS is what I come to, people bickering over stupid shit. I was under the understanding that SLX was made a mod to help us kieep the NM section cleaned up, not to lecture me on how this place was run.

I don't care if people have been mods at other places, none of those places had as much traffic as OSR, and none of those places are not even around for a good reason: Because of stupid shit like this. You guys decided to argue over some really dumb shit.

I don't have time to be here every day, I was hoping that a new mod would help with the load, not create new drama over something that doesn't even have squat to do with the No mercy section.

I consider SLX a friend, but I also think giving me a lecture on how to run this place is stupid. It was a lot of my ideas and my work that brought OSR to this level of traffic.

TWR and NMZ are dead. I'll be damned if I'm gonna let OSR go the same route due to petty crap like this. Time to clean up the staff. The next time a former TWR or NMZ guy wants to lecture me on how I run this place, please direct yourself to their tombstones.

OSR is as OSR does. It's a filthy animal, but it's our filthy animal.

edit: There. Cleaned it up, now all of you can fuck off. I'm leaving for awhile, so don't fuck the place up while I'm gone.

Might as well delete my account because after that, I don't see my self posting here anymore. Stripped of power? Really? To hell with this. I have a right to an opinion, jesus man.

You DO have a right to an opinion. But those rights extend to every-single-body, and not just you. You do not have the right to take those same rights away from others. You do not have the right to force your opinion on to others. And you definitely do not have the right to abuse your opinion to hurt others, and expect to have no repercussions.

You were a moderator who chose to close this thread. If Goatcheese wasn't happy about it, what was the worst he could do? He could moan about it until others got tired of him, but that is it. As the moderator, you could've just closed the thread and walked away, and your judgment call would have stood. But instead of that, you sunk down to a rather petty level. That's why Keson was on your back about it.

That's not all. You told some guys that their patch was pointless "in your opinion". Not just once, but you called it pointless multiple times, "in your opinion". It wasn't even constructive criticism, just criticism.

You did these things, threw a childish tantrum because we didn't just presume you were right, and verbally insulted your collegues for the same... in your first week on staff? Can you seriously look at all that and think the WE were on the wrong? This is why you got demoted.

Goatcheese, now would be a horrible time for you to chime in.

Meh.
