But the 2011 arenas have the moving advertisement parts, do they work in 2010? I never tried putting a 2011 arena in 2010.

i think it works anyway i will try to imput them on SvR 10 and later i tell you the results because i don't mod only SvR 11 arenas i mod arenas for SvR 11, no matter if they are from SvR 11, 10, 09, 06, whatever.. i just make them work on SvR 11 and the moving advertisiment is configurated in the pac of the arena

and thanks AKI. I think that the SvR section still very poor on the arenas section as it is in the womens section but i think that arena mods are better because they do a really new look in the game

SvR 11 moded arenas have problem during fights..
they appear ok at creation modes and entrances, but they have this bug during fights:

but i think that all the other ones work well(the ones based on SvR 10/09 arenas)
maybe someone who already used any of my arenas can give you more details

Yeah I love arena mods. Gives a completely new feel to the game.
I want better crowds though. Coloured like the 360 arenas are. Perhaps completely new textures... Some of the crowd models look awfully mirrored and could have much better textures in my opinion.

Sad to hear about 2011 in 2010 problems, but someway I figured there could be problems...

Ohhhh cool thanks for that advice Orkados i'm trying to create arenas too but when i test one at SvR 2010 the problem you said come out and no one know why it happen +1

What was your ECW based on bro? It worked perfect in 2010.

Edit: So did the Impact arena.

i will update on the first post what was the bases of the arenas...

arenas list:
ECW - One night Stand 2009
Impact - SmackDown 2010
MITB - Breaking Point 2011
Raw - Raw 2011
RR '98 - The Great American Bash 2009
SmackDown - SmackDown 2011
wCw nitro - Night of Champion 2011
WM x-seven - Royal Rumble 2011

knowing this, now i will have preference for SvR 06-10 arenas to mod and SvR 11 arenas only in the last case

i think the problem could be the way the objects are distribuited, for example when i was fixing 2008 arenas when i putted the crowd object at the end of the header the stage and the lightning got glitched but the old crowd fighting area displayed correctly, i will try to compare a 2010 and 2011 arenas and see if i can find whats wrong

a reason why i don't mod crowd too much is because the crowd models get bugged with his colors and textures... as you can see in my ROH preview video, the crowd got bugged because i changed the textures

I wonder why I had no problems when I recolored the crowd textures of the 2010 RR arena. Could be that I just darkened them and that made no restructuring to the palette... Do you have these problems on all crowds (different year arenas)?

yup.
not tried at all versions, but they have the same problem..
and the problem is in the pallette after you restructure the crowd textures because my ROH arena was made over '09 TTTT.
but when i imported the textures from wwe 12 over the original ones in my SD arena and kept the original palette, the new textures worked well.

Ok, so that probably means we'll have to create all crowd textures from the same palette.
That can be done by combining all textures into one big one, then creating the palette and last splitting it into smaller parts again.

maybe.. because all of them use exactly the same palette and when you edit the crowd textures and keep the palletes, they work.
but i still think we can overcome this palette problems..and thinking a little about it, i think that i found out how to fix my ROH problems..

I just made a color mod of the "small arena pac" Royal Rumble crowd. It was pretty easy just paste all crowd characters in one image, give it a 256 color palette and add the alpha channel, then cut and paste the images and save them as tm2. You can do it all directly in OPTPiX. It works.

This particular mod did not look too good though, so no screen shots this time. Point is that it was pretty easy. :p

By the way, since you have edited many arenas (mine has always been based off of that small RR arena) are there differences in the crowd textures?

The small RR arena only have 18 crowd textures, all with size of 64x32, are there differences in other pacs?
