I had a really cool match as Mankind against Essa Rios for the Hardcore belt in expert .
The match was rather balanced until Essa Rios threw me out of the ring, we then exchanged a chain of reversed punches and unfortunately i got the bad end of that chain and went down.
I saw Lita rushing to the ring as soon as i got down, she jumped outside and joined the battle on my side ! we put the unfortunate Essa Rios into a really rough time, Lita being specifically merciless while i was finally getting the upper hand and once back on the ring mat i applied a Mandible Claw but Rios was saved by the ropes.
I thought the match was going to conclude on a now obvious victory for me, but i saw Austin rushing to the rescue, as i knew he was going then to be on Essa Rios side, i moved away, while Lita was still fighting, ready to intercept Stone Cold, but he countered me and threw me outside.
He followed, put me back on my feet and .. Stunner !
Ouch, without even trying something else a Stunner.. that hurt quite a bit according to my special gauge.
After getting into much more problems as Austin was countering my attempts of punch and weak grappling (as my special was so low i couldn't hope to put a strong grapple) and i failed to do so, i finally managed to get back to the ring but i was really low on my momentum gauge.
... while Essa Rios had been finally getting rid of Lita and was having its Special at maximum, bad bad news.
He then countered a quick grapple mine as i was wanting to throw him outside in order to get back some momentum for me, and ... Rios Driver DDT
I was then on DANGER after the Austin hammering me and Essa Rios using his DDT finisher so no chances to kick out of the pin, Essa Rios kept the belt.
I really like No Mercy interferences, they really help in making the match flow changing and leading into unpredictable results.
