Happy belated birthday Keson! I get busy and don't check these boards enough, but it's nice being around others who agree that No Mercy with updated rosters is easily still the best wrestling game ever... there's a really passionate, dedicated fanbase here.

That said, I'm hearing the point that it's gotten too easy to beat the AI on Expert... that's why I like the "more difficult pinfalls" hack or whatever it's called. New match types are nice, as long as they don't glitch out. I'm more of a one on one guy anyway. Give me an ultra competitive one on one pure wrasslin' match over anything else any day of the week.

Looking forward to trying this latest update. It looks/sounds incredible.

Hey, just downloaded the new release. Can't wait to try it, but I'm up against an issue. The wresters aren't loading. The menu textures are loading (although the text is smaller than it should be), and the arenas are loading. But the wrestlers are invisible. No figure appears in the select screen, and the ring is just empty when the match starts.

I've checked the directories, but it seems okay. what am I doing wrong?

Only have the 'Showdown 64' box selected. Then turn your emu on and off again.

I played with it forever then added it to showdown and the matches are almost 10x longer and funner. Only thing is like you do gotta bash the buttons, not as extreme as you think but it's a decent code overall.

WOW MAN!!! this keeps getting better and better. But when I added the latest update, A.J. Styles 3rd attire is gone. Idk if it is a texture conflict weirding it out or something I may have done. Is anyone else having this problem?

yeah I had the same problem, I just changed it to a different attire

Hey everyone, I see this is the most active thread concerning pj64 2.1 and I am having difficulties getting these textures to launch with jabo's plugin...Seems to work quite well with the rice plugin but wldfb's beard and hair hacks don't look right...I've been at this for several hours this morning on google, contacted a couple vets on here, and nothing has turned up to fix the issue...
