@ Rag: Cena may not be a great technician, but he's a
hell of a performer. Hell, even Austin, HBK and Bret Hart give him his dues. I think they know more about the business than we do.
He's actually gotten quite good in-ring, his psychology (in my opinion the most important part of any performer) is right up there with Hogan.
Cena
is the perfect good guy, but we live in times where that just doesn't work. This shit happened with Hogan and he was smart enough to change his game-plan. It happened with Cena and it seems like he's content to just plow through it.
Wrestling fans are fickle, and most of the time seem to think they know more about the business than the people involved with it. I used to hate on Orton and talk about how much he sucked until my wrestling trainer decided to take me aside and showed me how to take off my mark-goggles.
We, as fans, are entirely too entitled, and we think we know entirely too much. I think it was Raven who said "Those are the best kind of fans, because they think they're so smart, they don't even see the wool over their eyes."
Orton is a phenomenal athlete and performer, he just sucks as a face and on the mic he's pretty meh. To say orton is that terrible in ring is just silly. He isn't the first person to get caught regularly talking on camera. Triple H, Shawn, RIC FLAIR, all these guys did, it just wasn't in the age of the internet, so less fans put them under scrutiny.
