If you made Wargames... I would have a heart attack.

I'm loving how the inferno match is looking so far.

Not sure where this Inferno Match is going to go. Right now the animation is set at 15 frames per second on the flames. 15 x 4 - 60 total animations added to the game that it isn't supposed to have. In doing this, it cuts the frame rate down from 60ish to 30-40, creating massive lag in the game.

I'm going to take it down to 7 frames a second and see if that helps.

Now that looks really awesome, along with the "blueprints" you drew.

Just a quick question, will the tunrbuckles be like the ones in normal matches since in the cage there different?
It's using the cage match as the foundation (keeping it 1v1, limited outside action, camera, etc.), so everything will be like a cage match. The turnbuckles had to be used for visuals.

I could do it the same way to work with normal matches, but then P3/P4 actions will have to be added.

That video was a great way to start my day before work!

Love the progress, Blitz, didn't expect it to get so far into development since yesterday.

It's basically almost finished. The only problem is the frame rate issue. Shown here... code is turned on midway through video -- 6 sec in I think.

Step 3 - Flame Animation 1 - complete.

I know the flames aren't super awesome graphics. But I drew 15 different ones, and ultimately decided to go with these. They move at 8 frames per second, without any major frame loss in the game.

Have to do the actions/winning next, but website and save development is getting in the way.

There were only 11 downloads for the Ultimate X beta, which is pretty much disappointing.

Awesome, I'm curious to see the development in the gameplay.

I admit I hadn't downloaded the Ultimate X code yet (I'm doing it now), but I've been sort of busy. I guess other people will download it as well.
I'm sure everyone appreciate your hard work. :hi

With a lot of new hacking knowledge, I've actually successfully made the game's interface to match :

Smackdown Shut Your Mouth
Smackdown vs. Raw 2009
Smackdown vs. Raw 2011
Wrestlemania X8

And working on WWE '12 style.

These include Main Menu, Arena Selecting, and Superstar selecting.

I downloaded the Ultimate X :D And even if it was beta and I had difficulties getting the climbing to work, I loved it purely for it's aesthetic reasons. And in the WCW World War 3 thread, I mentioned whether or not it was possible to make a War Games match, or the World War 3 match with the 3 rings, even if the 1 or 2 additional rings were just there for aesthetic reasons and not functional. That's why I was excited to read this thread and see your blueprints for the War Games match! :D

I have no doubt people appreciate and admire the work you put into the U-X BETA version buddy. I myself have not DL it yet as I dont have a comp that can run emu. However! Once I do, this will be DL and tested out man! I really want to see it fully complete at whenever stage you are ready to Blitz.

Also the amount of views and comments in this thread says it all too.

WARGAMES!!!!

Not making a Wargames, because it will compel me to be a dick and post only screenshots and videos of the match. :)

I understand about the lack of downloads because basically.... NO ONE IS PLAYING THIS GAME. Seriously. I doubt many people PLAY it anymore. Hacking codes are pointless, because maybe 1-2 people will actually use them.

People still play NM for sure, and love what the engine gives to wrestling fans. Guys like yourself, WldFb, DX69, etc etc are keeping this game fresh and along with the modders who are making these incredible saves, I dont see it "people not playing it anymore buddy". People will use these codes as they enhance the game and give us even more enjoyment.

I dont think it should be about the count of DL's or how many views, post counts are made. People still love hacking Blitz.

But when you break it down, you can count how many people are "active" in the No Mercy community on both hands. It's as if 4 people are working on saves, 1 person is hacking moves, 3 people are hacking random shit.... and that's about it.
