It appears that Michael 'P.S.' Hayes has been suspended indefinitely.

Hayes recently took some time off and has not been at WWE events in several weeks. It was reported that he had left to "deal with some personal issues", but nothing specific was ever mentioned. But former creative writer Court Bauer stated in his latest podcast that Hayes was actually suspended indefinitely.

Hayes was suspended for pressuring Rosa Mendes into consuming alcoholic beverages. This came within days of Mendes finishing a 2 month stint in rehabilitation clinic. She was sent home early from a European tour earlier this year as her drinking had gotten out of control. As Mendes had alcohol abuse problems in the past, the WWE paid for her to get treatment. Hayes' antics were considered to be insensitive and he was nearly fired over the incident.

Hayes is best known for being a constant member in the 'Fabulous Freebirds' stable. He has been working for the WWE as an agent for the last 15 years, although he has performed a number of roles including colour commentator on WWF Sunday Night Heat, a booker for SmackDown, and wrestled briefly as Doc Hendrix. He was the top candidate for the 2014 Hall Of Fame (without the Freebirds), but negotiations ended around the same time as his suspension ended.

This is far from the first time that Hayes has been in trouble for his behaviour. Mark Henry and the Great Khali both almost quit due to racist comments made by Hayes, while Bobby Lashley and Krystal Marshall both did for this reason. He was also dropped as the Hardy Boyz first manager when it emerged that he was a negative influence on the rookie Jeff and Matt Hardy. He was one of the staff members responsible for the 2002 'Flight From Hell'. He was once accused of sexual harassment, but was cleared in court.

Where's the proof?

Just cause Bauer said it doesn't make it true.

As far as the other shit, people are way to damn sensitive, I get so damn sick of the OMG THAT'S RACIST crap.

But if someone says honky bastard it's fine, but no one else can say shit about anyone else.

If it's not ok for one person it shouldn't be ok for anyone else either.

No, it shouldn't. However, due to how American society has suppressed so many other things over the last century that wasn't "white and proud", we kinda asked for this backlash. Get it? Backlash? :D

The problem with white racial slurs is... well, there really aren't that many good ones. So, not even a lot of white people are offended by them.

We wouldn't have gay pride parades if we hadn't have made homosexuals be in hiding so long, we wouldn't have black pride parades if they weren't treated like garbage for so long..... so.... I think it's time for everyone else to have the fun at OUR expense.

Keep in mind, though, I'm not 100% white, I'm nearly half Native American... so maybe it's in my blood to not feel bad about Whitey, the blue-eyed devil.

I like Hayes, he's important to the history of the business..... but if he's going to pressure people fresh out of rehab, he needs to be taken down a peg or two.

Never said I was completely white either, I'm more of what I like to call a mutt. White/Black/Native American on one side of my family & Irish/Scottish/English & German on the other.

And I am proud of every little piece of me. I'm just tired of the poor poor little me bitching from EVERYONE these days.

As far as Michael goes IF he did that then yes it was stupid & needs to be called on it.

He allegedly called Mark Henry the N-word. I just think he's one of those people that feels like he is entitled to say whatever he wants and sweep it all under the rug as a joke.

If that's true, then Mr. Hayes can kiss my entire ass.

If he said that to Mark Henry, god knows how many time he called JYD that.

He did not call him that in the way you think, what he said was along the lines of he (Hayes was more of ****** than Henry was because of partying or something like that. If you grew up where Michael did you would know that isn't really a big deal. I myself have.

For example

I myself was eating dinner when I was younger with several black friends of mine one night & I made the comment about I had never used hot sauce much on food before. My friend look at me and said that's what you get hanging out with us ******* , now you're a ****** too.

Your Freebirds Mark side is blinding you Connor.Chris Benoit was also great in his carrer but he did stupid shit* due to steroids and now many people including you hate him.So if Hayes is a scumbag he should pay for being one.

*(I actually don't believe it was him but I will go with the "facts")

I could say the same thing about you.

But calling someone a name and murdering your entire family is a bit different don't you think?

Can we at least agree that trying to get a young gal to start drinking again after getting out of rehab is a complete scumbag move?

Hayes has a very long and decorated history of treating people shitty behind the scenes.

So how my "mark side" is blinding me?

I agree,I gave Benoit as a example not as a comparison.

Update, it's confirmed that he not only pressured her, but was drinking with her.

Quote:

As noted earlier, former WWE creative writer Court Bauer said on the most recent episode of the Bauer and Pollock Podcast that Michael Hayes was suspended indefinitely by WWE and sent home a few weeks ago because he was seen drinking with Rosa Mendes after she had just completed a stint in rehab for substance abuse.
"He [Hayes] was hanging and having a few drinks with Rosa Mendes - many are familiar with her recent problems with drinking," Bauer said (props to Chris Maffei for the transcription). "WWE didn't feel it was a good look, and a lot of people tipped off the front office about this event. They had been bringing her for a few weeks to TV but not using her, I think just to make sure that things were good, she was in a good place, it was a good environment for her and should could handle it.

"That was the right move by the office, that was the right move to do. Very sensitive to the subject, but also just seeing if it was time to get back and get her involved. If someone has a problem, you probably shouldn't be pouring a few back with them. I think that's probably not in their best interests. As a person that's intricately involved with talent and the inner office and knows this, that's really inexcusable."

Bauer noted that Hayes was told "he'd be basically suspended from school for a few weeks," but that he's still with the company and is not going anywhere.
