Many within TNA Wrestling are clinging onto the hope that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff will be gone in 2 weeks. Hogan's contract expires on October 1st, with Bischoff's ending a few days later.

Hogan is apparently furious with the way that Dixie Carter has been running the company over the last few months, and is demanding more control if he is to stay around. At the same time, members of TNA management are not sure if it is even worthwhile keeping Hogan on board.

The company is in major debt right now, and they have been forced to terminate over 2 dozen contracts in order to save money. Every performer and staff member has been asked to take a pay-cut, with those who disagreed being released. During this process, management realised that much of their money was going towards Hogan’s paycheques. Hogan is easily the highest paid staff member. A stipulation in Hogan’s contract means that he gets a bonus every time he makes an appearance at a TNA event. This bonus is always higher than what the highest paid performer receives. And Hogan has the authority to book himself as often as he pleases. On top of this, Hogan is the only person who is allowed to book himself for appearances outside of TNA without prior approval from management, and can make extra money from licensing his name and image.

Hogan is also mad at TNA for releasing his daughter Brooke Hogan as a cost-cutting measure. Brooke served little purpose and refused to take any bumps. So it did not make sense for her to be making as much as she was being paid. Hogan denies being told about her release before it happened, and says that he should have been the one to deal with it quietly. But in reality, Hogan was the only person who voted against the idea, meaning that he had to have been aware of it coming.

He has also been blaming Dixie for refusing to meet with Bischoff and himself anymore. The reality is that Hogan keeps no-showing these meetings and randomly taking time off.

Over the years, Hogan has openly criticised Dixie and her input into creative and business decisions. He insults her in interviews and over his official Twitter account. He has recently been offended by Dixie’s support of A.J. Styles. Hogan had planned for Styles to sit out for a year before returning with his “No-One” gimmick. But as Styles was not being promoted, paid or set up for a story line, Dixie demanded that he got brought back early. She later overruled Hogan’s decision to have Style miss the Bound For Glory pay-per-view, instead arranging for Styles to be in the main event.

Jeff Jarrett has recently returned to TNA shows and is fulfilling the roles that he used in the pre-Hogan era. Many are taking this as a positive sign that Hogan is on his way out.

Hogan needs to go back to WWE where he can be used in a proper capacity.

Who was in charge when TNA had the six-sided ring and the sweet double sided entrances? That time in TNA had me interested just as the very early days of TNA.

yeah. the time of monty brown , jeff jarrett, team canada, six-sided ring, two entrances are good.although the end of most matches end like the team mates of one guy goes to the ring using one entrance, then the other guy's team mates go using the other because of the 2 entrances, personally i still think it's awesome.

The problem is that his ego is huge because he only got to be a Main Eventer when WCW on-screen downfall began. He got to be a 6 times NWA/TNA WHC in feuds with Raven,Sting, when it could of be a young talent.Oh and remember his MMA matches with Samoa Joe?

Yeah, I don't really know the beef on Russo, I've always thought he was pretty good.

See, the thing with Russo is, he generates a lot of ideas. Some very bad, some very good. He needs to have an objective person as his filter, which is what Vince was, me thinks.

That is an almost perfect description.

Russo cannot accept criticism. So when he comes up with a bad idea, he receives resistance to it. And if you resist him, he will push the idea harder and further. As a result, he gives more attention to his bad ideas, and then that is what people remember him for.

Whenever he has a good idea, people usually go with it. But then he thinks his idea is boring because it did not spark the amount of discussion of he was expecting.

I always thought Russo was a guy with a great mind for the business, but he never had someone in TNA who could question his ideas and offer constructive criticism. I always felt he has that bad stigma carried over to TNA from WCW, but WCW was already is a shit state when Russo came in. Lets face facts, TNA is in far worse state, finachally and on a story standpoint compared to when Russo was running things, and I loved the talent they had with the likes of Monty Brown who should have been NWA champion and "THAT" guy who carried the Heavyweight division, while AJ was carrying the X-Division.

The X-Division, Tag Team and even the Heavyweight division back then was far more entertaining and each division had some meaning, compared to now.

I think Dixie needs to get her head of the sand, and forget Hogan and bring back the one guy who I really admire...................Scott D'Amore. He was awesome for the work he put in with the Knockouts and hell, he could really change up the other divisions too!!
