Stephanie upsets roster again?

A lot of people within the WWE are unhappy with Stephanie McMahon, but are afraid to say anything out loud.

The latest complaint is over how management handled reporting the deaths of Mad Dog Vachon and Mae Young. In both instances, Management discouraged employees from acknowledging that the Hall Of Famers had passed away until there was "official confirmation". However, Stephanie McMahon would then be the first to break the news on her official Twitter page. Both tweets were posted an hour before the WWE posted an official announcement on their website.

Employees feel like Management are using the deaths of respected legends in order to promote Stephanie. They understand that Stephanie will be in charge of the company some day in the near future, but this is considered disrespectful. Even though Stephanie knew Mae Young all of Stephanie's adult life, they were not closely acquainted. She also only met Vachon at Hall Of Fame related events. The general feeling is that the first announcement should have been made by someone who had better connections to the people. They would have understood if Vince McMahon made the announcements, as he had a working relationship and friendships with both Young and Vachon.

The entire roster is unhappy with Stephanie's current attitude. She plays an onscreen character who acts just as tough as the biggest men in the company, but all comments and actions by anyone else has to pre-approved by Stephanie herself. Stephanie has the freedom to make very personal comments about the superstars and divas, and they are not allowed to insult her back unless she approved the comment in advance. Stephanie will not consent to taking a bump (unless it is performed by Triple H). Superstars and Divas do not like being buried by a woman who will never have to defend herself. At least Triple H allows Superstars to get in his face, and he occasionally sells attacks from Superstars. Stephanie has far too little in-ring experience to act as tough as she does.

During a segment in September, Dusty Rhodes interrupted her and would not allow her to get the better of her. As a result, Dusty has not been on television since. With Dusty having such a storied career, it just does not make sense for him to be buried by Stephanie. At the moment, no-one supports her decision.

Employees know too well that bad-mouthing Stephanie is a career threatening decision. Vince is notoriously defensive of his daughter, but now she has Triple H and her own authority too. With no major competition to the WWE, leaving the company is a career downturn for most. Employees are concerned about the future once Vince McMahon does finally step down, and Stephanie takes full control with Triple H.

The difference is, if there is money to be made, Vince can forgive.

Good point. Vince also let himself look like an ass all the time, as well. Maybe she'll get her bearings? Hopefully?

[/quote]dusty did the right by that decision. His era didn't have all the scripted crap. When he went off script though you could clearly see how piss'd steph was.

So I posted this in the correct section.

Then again, you had the same attitude when I repeated a Nadimmania post about Batista signing a deal for WrestleMania. Less than 2 weeks later, his return was confirmed on RAW. So you are entitled to your cynicism.

I might have been wrong about it, but it seems like it's a common trend to make things up around this time of year to generate hits for certain websites (not this one), then when it gets low, make even more matchups that have a probablity of happening, and then when all is said and done, those places are right.

If you could add the source (not even a link, just the name), it would add or subtract credibility.

Actually, Warrior is right on this one, you can't post news without a source.
