BY WWE.com Staff

April 08, 2014

WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior. Warrior began his WWE career in 1987 and quickly went on to become one of the biggest stars in WWE history. Warrior became WWE Champion at WrestleMania VI, defeating Hulk Hogan in an epic encounter. We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame and was also able to appear at WrestleMania 30 and Monday Night Raw to address his legions of fans. WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior’s family, friends and fans. Warrior was 54 and is survived by his wife Dana and his two daughters.[/quote]

R.I.P. At Raw, he doesn't looked like he was going to pass away. R.I.P.

This is heavy and sad. That said though, remember, we're talking about a guy who suffered years of steroid abuse for years. I think the poor dude gave out to too much going on really. Randy had ticker problems too before he went out RIP to both men.. I really can't believe this... :(

Beyond sad. I had his figures and got my mum to do his facepaint for me. I know he had heart problems and I guess he was holding out for his HOF induction. Honestly 2014 has been a terrible year for deaths. RIP The Ultimate Warrior.

I still can't believe it. It's satisfying to know that he got to see himself become a hall of famer before his time came. R.I.P.

To be honest, he looked pretty bad on raw compared to 2008 when he had a match with Orlando Jordan. He was walking slowly and can't shake the ropes much, but I didn't know it was THAT serious.

I was at school when a friend of mine told me about this, i really thought he was joking at first but then i checked the website and he it was actually true.

Remember when HHH said 2014 is going to be a great year for WWE? well not so much i can tell you.

First the streak now Warrior, R.I.P to a great legend and i'm happy he got inducted to the HOF before his incident.

The timing of his death is hard to believe.

The events of the last few days must have taken more of a toll than anyone knew.

But like living up to his character, his spirit held on long enough to be inducted and take a final bow on RAW.
