As noted by wwefan4life, there are rumours that CM Punk has left the WWE.

CM Punk has been removed from advertising for all future WWE events, including the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. It is reported that he had a meeting with WWE officials on Monday afternoon, and told WWE Chairman Vince McMahon that he was going home.

That afternoon, McMahon told the writers to make major changes to Raw’s script. One of the most notable changes was that Punk did not feature on the show. Early reports suggested that this was a response to the negative reaction fans gave at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Punk had been scheduled to advance his feud with Kane, but this was apparently delayed until next week’s Raw. Since then, Punk has been removed from advertising for the show.

Most of the reports on this incident are speculation right now. Punk had been unhappy with the WWE for some time, and made no secret of the fact that he didn’t want to renew his contract when it expires this Summer. Punk is said to have been in a bad mood after recent WWE shows, including the Royal Rumble, but this was also normal for him. Rumour has it that he was disinterested in the WWE product during his time at the Wizard World Q&A session in Portland, Oregon last weekend.

Our undercover reporter CBV tried to sneak an exclusive interview, but all he could find out is that Punk is a really cool guy.

Punk has a lot of reasons to be upset. He was recently told off for talking about an ice hockey game on Twitter before the ‘TLC – Tables, Ladder and Chairs’ pay-per-view last month. He also was frustrated with WWE management when they considered punishing his girlfriend, A.J. Lee, for an incident that occurred at the ‘Tribute To The Troops’ taping. Punk has also been requesting time to rest internal injuries for 5 months now, but he has been working 90% of WWE shows since.

Punk is apparently unhappy with how the Royal Rumble finished. Even though he is friends with the match winner, he strongly felt that it should have been Daniel Bryan that won the match. At one point, there was a solid plan to have Bryan win the Rumble, but he was then removed as early as last October.

Other reports are “confirming” that Punk was due to lose an Elimination Chamber qualifier to Antonio Cesaro. Others are “confirming” that Daniel Bryan will now face Triple H at WrestleMania XXX instead of Punk. With that said, the tag team match Cesaro had at Raw was also in the original script. And Bryan is still slated for facing Sheamus at WrestleMania.

The only people who have actually commented on the situation are Matt Hardy and JTG. Hardy claims to understand things from Punk’s perspective, and encourages fans to wait until they have heard the full story before commenting on it. JTG simply made a joke about Lita, who has dated both men.

So Punk allegedly walked out & quit WWE. Interesting. It's impossible 2 understand the toll that job can have on you-unless you've lived it.
…
A "screw you" from Punk? NO. Punk's gotta prioritize his own sanity & health. Sometimes WWE isn't conducive to those two things.
…
From my experience- When you're in constant physical pain, frustrated the majority of the time, & resent what u love, things have to change.

"Cm punk leaves WWE ? Matt Hardy arrested ? Sounds like a former Diva is really into American Horror Story Coven. #Idonttweetbutwhenido...."

I don't think he's completely gone for good. Whats being reported is that he and Vince had a heated exchange of words before Raw Monday. Since he wasn't scripted for the show he left. If they drop all mention of Punk over the next 2 weeks or so; then we'll know just how truly bad the situation is. if its even bad at all. Punk just needs a break the man is beat up and burnt out.

That's what it seems like to me too. He will likely let his contract expire. There are conflicting reports about whether that is the start of May, or middle of July.

He was scripted for the show. But it is not clear if it was just a promo, or a match too. He was meant to be in the opening segment with Triple H and Stephanie to begin setting up the Punk vs Triple II match at WrestleMania XXX. He was also scripted to take a beatdown from Kane or The Shield.

Either way, I understand Punk's point. He needed time off to rest injuries for months now. But every time he has been promised time off, he still had to be at live events to cut a promo and take a beat down. During one of his weeks off, he was beaten down by Curtis Axel and Ryback. The segment ended with Ryback throwing Punk off a platform and through a table above the concrete floor. This gave him an additional rib injury to the internal injuries he already had.

I've just read a new Headline that said WWE has stopped following Punk on twitter. That's interesting on a number of levels.

Well i read something of this friday night Smackdown (SPOILERS):
Cesaro beat Ziggler for a spot in the Elimination Chamber, and Christian beat Swagger for a spot in EC too, so, it's only one person left, probably the WWE Champ, Randy Orton. Punk isn't scheduled for any match, so maybe ther rumours are thruth.

So, WWE will lose a top superstar, one of the most loved by WWE fans. One of the most technicals wrestlers in history. Hope he returns in a couple of years if this is truth.

I hope Trips learns something from this.

Also, I don't know who said he didn't have any interest in the product during Wizard con, he seemed to be perfectly fine.

Another new headline: this time ESPN Cleveland reporter Casy Kulas ESPN reports that there may be some concussion issues that came into play during CM Punk’s argument with WWE officials on Monday. Kulas posted to Twitter:

"My info on CM Punk: I do know from sources that at #Raw in CLE there was heated exchange backstage between Punk & staff. Topic - concussion."

"Punk was heard arguing with staff saying "I passed all your damn concussion test" and "I'm not going out and telling fans that BS."

The report claims the last re-write came at approximately 6pm after Vince McMahon and CM Punk had the meeting that led to Punk’s departure from the company. CM Punk walked out of the building after a “heated exchange” with Vince McMahon and several other WWE officials.

:( Damn.

Still hoping all this is a work. I'm allowed to do that. I did it for the pipebomb and it worked out, so I'm doing it here, even when it seems like I shouldn't.

WWE stopped following him on twitter.

From what I'm reading into it now they wanted punk to lie about having a concussion when he clearly did not. I've heard they wrote the script for Raw 10 to 11 times throughout the day. What a cluster F*** !

Funny side note :TNA Wrestling star is inviting the Chicago native to cross the line.

Bully Ray tweeted: "If the rumors are true, let me be the 1st to invite @CMPunk to @IMPACTWRESTLING and get in the ring w/ me. Fans would LOVE it. Yes or no?"

Could you imagine? That just might be enough to put Impact back on the map again.

Punk hates TNA though, so there's a better chance of ME being in TNA than Punk.

The smark in me wants to say that he won't go to TNA. After years of being insulted by Kurt Angle, and bashing the WWE for not pushing the right talent, he won't go to a company that has Angle as a top guy and does not push the right talent.

But then again, there was no way in hell that Hogan would ever be back in WWE, and he has signed a deal to do something at WrestleMania XXX.

EDIT: Ryback made a joke about it Twitter. Basically, he called dibs on the GTS, Pepsi Plunge and Running Knee Strike in the corner, while Sheamus will take the rest.

Mky, let's say this isn't all part of a build as the optimist in me wants it to be. The other optimist in me is imagining guys like AJ Styles, CM Punk, Chris Hero and others starting their own renegade company under new structure, ala Image comics in the 90's.

A man can dream.

TNA created a playlist 'The best of CM Punk' on their YouTUBE page. If he goes to TNA, WWE will have to up their game - which might be why he's doing it.

TNA has a best of CM Punk? What, they collected a bunch of footage of him escorting Raven to the ring? :p

I doubt he would go to TNA.

There's no way in a million years he'll go to TNA. He's not stupid enough to do that with how Vince McMahon worships him, he'll be back.

The latest news I was able to find,

Source: The Wrestling Observer

"The latest on the CM Punk leaving WWE situation is that Punk was reportedly not happy about the idea of facing Triple H at WrestleMania. The reason is that Punk did not feel that Triple H was his idea of a big match/feud at WrestleMania. At this time, it’s being said that Vince McMahon wants Punk back, while Triple H has mixed feelings on the idea. Triple H feels that Punk walking out at the last minute on Monday was extremely disrespectful. Vince McMahon is now handling the situation."

My thoughts on it: I think after a week or 2 him and Vince will be able to hash something out that works. It just depends on how piss'd Punk really is.

:eek:hyeah
