Jesus Christ wasn't WM just 4 hour max with the preshow and all? At least that was what it was back in WM 17.

You know, i went through a lot of thoughts about the Streak ending.

All these people who hated it were talking through their gut and not through their minds.

You see, It happened to me, too. When the match ended my jaw was on the floor and I couldn't believe it! I was about to cry, it was so shocking and i thought "What the fuck has the WWE just done?" I couldn't believe it, and actually didnt enjoy the match at all, I'm not gonna lie.

Then i thought to myself, hell, this crowd is going to get crazy, but the silence was so huge, People were speechless, they probaby didn't know if they should boo Lesnar or Cheer Taker, and so was I, Then, well, they booed Lesnar first and when he left they gave Taker a standing ovation. After that I understood, it was taker who decided it and who am I to judge his decision. It's his streak and his career, so he can do what he wants.

I'm not gonna lie, though, I would have been more satisfied if the streak ended at WM 25 with that amazing match that i still get excited watching. But I understand that the Undertaker is old now, and he can't give the same show from 5 years ago. It's not his fault and it isn't Brock's either, even though i thought at one point Brock didn't deserve it because the match wasn't that great, but after thinking about it i changed my mind.

This one was the most exciting WrestleMania I have ever watched, live, period.
You guys who have more time as fans could name another one. And i didn't say it was the best to me, i said "exciting", don't get me wrong.

Cheers.

'The Grand Daddy Of Them All'

Embarrassing isn't the word

A New Era in wrestling??... Maybe
A complete disgrace to the history of WWE and WrestleMania?...

Hogan was a disgrace at WM 9. WM 30 was awesome. People are angry about the streak, but forget that it was The Undertaker that decided. Him and him alone.

He knows more about wrestling than me, so I respect his descision and refuse to call something a man as respected The Undertaker wanted a disgrace.

All the old timers know it's best to go out on your back. All of 'em.

Mkay. I figured it was more Undertaker hate, since the web is full of it right now.

Won't be home until tomorrow, but I will get those! You rule!

Only read about the the event so far but,

After hearing Undertaker say "You want to do it?" at UFC 121, it's been itching at the back of my head that it was going to happen.

In case you haven't seen it Undertaker at UFC 121, notice how he says its personal.

One one side I like it, it resonates the mortality of its wrestlers and warns the fans they don't get magical undead powers and age makes everyone fragile, so utilize it whilst you can like the legends of wrestling have done.

Its a new era after all, where wrestling matters again yet kayfabe still continues to surprise and excite the fans.

On the other he left with head concussion which shows how clumsy and uncaring Brock is in the ring.
And it didn't pass the torch to someone who could be the future of the business, but who could they trust with it? No one can look into the future and know for sure.

I was and still am a huge Mark Calaway fan since watching Wresltemania 7 on videotape, the character drew us all in but its the man we respect, in the same way he respects wrestling in all it's forms.[/SPOILER]

I just kinda dislike how anti climatic the ending was. Sure, I was sleeping (It was 9am here in Singapore, I think, I woke up to pee and check the results on my iphone and the match just ended) and it totally woke me up, I was shocked because Taker lost to a part-timer.

Then again, I think Taker is really too old to continue, I actually feel sad that he's back to wrestle Brock in that state. Brock, on the other hand, is most likely to stay with WWE, built up as a monster heel who broke the streak. And the next guy who beats him at a big PPV is gonna get a big shoulder rub. Not to mention the fact that the news has reached mainstream media. Creating a mass interest in WWE.

With the new fans, they would want to find out more about Undertaker, the streak, as well as Brock Lesnar. More subscriptions to WWE network = more money for all.

Then again, this is my marketing mind speaking. How true it is I don't know.

Taker had a concussion very early on, it changed the pace. I can't believe he finished.

Brock being part time doesn't take away from his credentials or respect for Undertaker. Some people seem to think that guys who are part time are less deserving of accolades like world titles or in this case, being the guy to break the Streak.

Couldn't be further than the truth. Undertaker hand picked Brock Lesnar to end the Streak due to Mark being a HUGE MMA fan. No one else in the past, present or future can have the legendary career that Brock had, even prior to the Streak. Not even Kurt Angle has his achievements.

Brock loves wrestling, Brock hates the travel. Brock accomplished so many feats that he never had to work another day in his life. He didn't come back to the WWE because he needed the damn money.

Brock Lesnar is an athlete who suffers from one of the most athletically dehabilitating diseases in the world, and by all means shouldn't ever step into a ring ever again.

Let's stop pretending Brock Lesnar is something he isn't. He is one of the most motivated, hard working and unique athletes on the planet, and I'm glad he came back to the WWE, or else the Streak was going to end by someone who could possibly screw it up.

Brock is booked as the most hated and feared man in the WWE, maybe even the planet. This cements it. If they would have given it to a young guy, it would have haunted and tainted his whole career. Where do you go from that but down? There was no better choice than Lesnar.

Not sure if he's the most motivated, hard working and unique athletes on the planet, but you are right that he's able to shoulder the weight of being the guy whole broke the streak.

The reason why I'm against part-timers are because they are part time. They can leave anytime they want. Look at CM Punk, he's on contract and he left! Currently as an employer and employee myself, I understand how hard it is to keep employees who has nothing to lose stay in the job for long. I have been at both ends.

My only worry is that Brock just decides not to continue wrestling (cause he can) and does not pass the torch to anyone else. The streak will be broken for nothing.

On a side note, can you guys PM me your old usernames? I'm starting to lose track who is who.

tbh i think he has enough respect for the businesses to not do that, he will pass the torch just like many wrestlers did for him

Well, anything is possible. I used to think CM Punk has the respect for the business not to walk away without finishing his storylines due to his struggle and occasional kayfabe keeping, look what happened.

:wall: I got heated over a wrestling ppv. Looking back on it, it was a pretty great ppv. Taker losing just blind sided me. Plus Brays more over than ever, so I can't be mad at him losing.
