Can you take a snapshot of your settings.ini file?

Looking at the main diagram - I think all my folders are wrong now

EDIT - But I didn't  change anything apart from copying the music into the right folder and the textures into the right one as well

[Settings]
MemOffset=0x3402BFFF3
ProcessName="Project64 1.6.exe"

Your folders look fine, but they wouldn't be causing your issue anyway.
Besides, the "Music Tool Part 4 - Applying Your Offset To The Music Tool" diagram shows you how the NMThing folder should look.

Go into your NMThing folder, open up your settings.ini with notepad and take a snapshot for me to look at.
I'll check if you have entered the information correctly.

"C:\Users\Kyle\Desktop\NM\WWF Legends 2.1 - Base Game\Project64 1.6\Project64 1.6.exe"

(is the target for start)

Ok, the offset is incorrect.

The offset you got from Cheat Engine (that ends in 9AD4)...

Subtract it from 80159AD2

The result should end with FFFE.

Sigh, nope, same again...

I have included the screenshot showing FFFE. I don't know what else can be tried?

Also, I unticked the Mute Music in the Cheats Menu (just now) and the Music Tool almost worked as for the first time it said something different (Offset Wrong maybe?). When I started the game I could finally hear menu music and Hogan's entrance  but then Savage came out to Triple H's theme and all the graphics were messed up? No commentary at all

The Mute Music code should be left on. The music you hear is the original in-game music.

The only code that affects the Music Tool is LEGENDS \ Sound \ Interface/Music Tool, which should be left on.

You won't hear the Commentary track mp3s (and any other mp3) without the Music Tool.

I have no more ideas how to help. Sorry.

You could show me a screenshot of your Cheat Engine with Project 64 selected when on the Rumble Pack screen, and after clicking scan a couple of times.
I might be able to spot something off there.

I will get screengrabs in a second - I've just noticed it doesn't come up with Rumble Pack, just start and then it says Press Start, then What the world is watching and then I press to clear that?

What The World Is Watching is the Rumble Pack Screen (see "Music Tool Part 2 - Finding Your Offset" in the Help Folder).

This is the Screen where you perform the Cheat Engine routine - when "What The World is Watching" is up on screen.

So your offset is 40369AD4

80159AD2 - 40369AD4 = 3FDEFFFE

Your Music Tool offset should be 3FDEFFFE

Nope :(

Should I reinstall the entire thing?

Bizarre. Maybe it's corrupt or something.

You are running Project 64 followed by the Music Tool right?

Also, check that you only have one instance of Project 64 running at one time.

I suppose you could try downloading the tool again. At least the game is working.

Thanks Orson - it's weird and yup, Project 64 followed by Music tool ad leaving a bit of time before ticking music mod.

I really do appreciate the help, sorry it's a pain in the arse

EDIT: Reinstalled music tool, done the offset check, still the same. The loading roster on the tool and code is showing 0x5260. Ah well - as you say I can play the game! I'll try a full reinstall tomorrow as I think I have it in my head now

You don't need to leave any time before ticking the box (it doesn't really matter when you tick it), the tool just needs a couple of seconds to look for the offset after reaching the Start Screen.

I think that is combined work from D2A and HaloOverHead.
Great stuff.

OMG! Reinstalled straight to C: drive and it works!!!!! This is brilliant! Thank you so much for the help!

I had two more quick questions but I suspect I have used up all my good will LOL

EDIT: I don't believe it! It worked once, crashed so I restarted and I back to my 5260 error! Just reran it as Admin, set to non compatibiity and that might have worked, just hoping it doesn't crash - hope this helps someone?

Putting the word out re: a solution to our PJ64 conundrum. Doing some great work on crafting a new and much improved Legends mod and we've hit a bit of a snag here. If you'd like to help or know an avenue we can take to get there, please let us know!
