first of all you don't say if you're modding ps2,psp ,or others..then for most of your questions ,the answers are in tutorial section. there's a index about it there.

if game freezes you maybe put on bg.pac a modded arena with bigger size than original without touching arc file. use HARDX36's Importer

the biggest error is not copy the original file you're workin' on..if you do somethin'wrong you can have always the original !

maybe he's talking about the "areas" aroun' the arena textures or simply he has a little confusion about it.

the file imported must have same size of original ..or you need to touch the ARC file giving more space

here i found 07 smack arena (ps2) https://www.mediafire.com/?g2v9fkv43awko6u i hope with crowd. i don't know edition of svr you wanna put this arena, but for exemple arenas in ,some svr editions ,as survivor series or royal rumble had no high ramp and can work with smack arena.

for the ramp ,you need to put smack fist arena in arena with no high ramp, or wrestlers fly up when they enter. maybe i have the smack fist arena bg with crowd but i don't know version you need , mine is for psp
