Quote:

As noted earlier today, Daffney announced today via Twitter that she has filed a workers' compensation claim against TNA Wrestling, stemming from injuries she sustained working for the organization.

According to a few TNA employees, there were issues between Daffney and the company regarding her medical expenses being covered after she suffered a concussion taking a bump through a barbed wire board at the October 2009 Bound For Glory pay-per-view event. The issue had been brewing for some time, which explains why she hadn't been used as of late.

Daffney's contract with TNA Wrestling expired today. Her profile was removed from the company website yesterday.[/quote]

TNA's woes continue, and TBH I dont blame her for filing a lawsuit. That bump she took was rather nasty and if she has not been covered by TNA then they are gonna gain even more bad exposure. Oh dear!

Daffney issued a statement to Diva-Dirt.com today concerning her status with TNA Wrestling and she confirms that she has parted ways with the organization. Her contract expires today and company officials opted not to renew it. The "Scream Queen" claims she is unsure if her contract not being renewed is tied to her filing a workers' compensation claim against the organization due to injuries she sustained working for them.

"Yesterday my picture was taken down off of the TNA roster page. My contract expires today and TNA did not renew it," she wrote. "I do not know if it has anything to do with it, but I've made a Worker’s Comp claim against them due to injuries I've sustained in the ring and my lawyers said to not go into anymore details."

At the April 20, 2010 iMPACT! taping, Daffney was injured during a dark match against a novice performer, Miss Betsy (a/k/a Rosie Lottalove). She was taken to a hospital, where she was diagnosed with a deeply bruised sternum, a severe stinger and a concussion. Dffney made her return to TNA at the June 14, 2010 Xplosion taping, but would not resurface again until the December 9, 2010 episode of iMPACT!. This marked her final appearance for TNA.

But if she is still working and i know she has since then, she is going to have a hell of a time getting it. Because you have to not be able to work at all, prove it was the injures that caused it & she has been working.

I actually thought she would have been one of Madison's mystery challengers eventually. So much for that idea. :(

Yeah that is very good from Dixie, and a nice gesture. Good to see, she actually does care about the fans feelings.

Now here is a spoiler of this weeks iMPACT!!

Credit: Mike Maycock/Pwinsider

Before Impact started, they taped a dark match where Robbie E beat Bobby Shields from Taz's school. Shields looked pretty good.

Impact started with a goofy skit where Mr. Anderson beat up a guy who told him the math didn't add up to him not being the TNA champ. Yeah, it didn't make sense to me either. Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff came out and told Anderson he had to beat Rob Van Dam to get a shot at Sting. The end result is that the two would wrestle and Sting would be the ringside enforcer.

Then the matches started when Tara lost to Mickie James.

The Pope lost by DQ to Okada.

Ric Flair, Matt Hardy and Bully Ray were in the ring for a promo. Flair put both guys over as tag stars, which led to them calling out Fortune. They fought until the lights went out and Abyss came back. and destroyed Fortune. They will all meet at Lethal Lockdown.

There was a match that I missed but Matt Morgan and Devon lost to Hernandez and someon.

RVD and Anderson went to a no contest when Anderson laid out Rob but Sting wouldn't make the count.

They taped an Xplosion match afterwards where Max Buck beat brother Jeremy.

As noted earlier here on the website, the drug case against Jeff Hardy was continued once again today in Moore County, NC Superior Court. The case has been ongoing for 18 months, and today, Assistant District Attorney Warren McSweeney asked Judge James Webb to continue to the case. FayObserver.com reports that the reason for the continuance is so they can get the results of lab tests from the State Bureau of Investigation on some of the evidence that was seized from Hardy's home September 11th, 2009. I'm not sure why it would take 18 months to get lab tests back.

It should be noted that Jeff Hardy's lawyer has publicly stated that Jeff will plead guilty to at least some of the charges. Both Hardy's lawyer and prosecutors are still trying to work out a deal. Hardy's lawyer wants to avoid jail time.

TNA's media relations department refused to comment on how the company is dealing with Hardy currently. He did state that TNA has a drug testing policy in place.

Police found about 262 doses of Vicodin, a prescription painkiller, 180 Soma prescription pills, 55 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder cocaine and drug paraphernalia when they raided his house on September 11th, 2009. He faces several drug charges including felony trafficking.

In a follow up from the incident at this past Sunday's TNA Victory Road pay-per-view, when Eric Bischoff entered the ring to change the stipulation for the Sting vs. Jeff Hardy match, he called an audible. Bischoff could be clearly seen saying things to both Hardy and Sting during his in-ring promo. According to TNA sources, Hardy had to be "held up" as he was brought though the gorilla position. Due to his condition before the main event, the call was made to change all main event plans. Hardy was stumbling badly on his way to the ring during his entrance and looked "completely out of it". As reported on Monday, Hardy was sent home by TNA from the iMPACT! TV tapings this week in Orlando, FL.

There are other reports stating that Hardy arrived to the iMPACT! Zone on Sunday way later than he was supposed to and was found laying on his back in a corner of a bathroom backstage. TNA management was frantically trying to find him before the main event. Jeff was nodding off and as noted above, had to be held up on his way to the arena for the main event. Sting was quiet backstage but visibly pissed off. More as we get it.

Incredible

Okay..It could be that he was not high ... He was sick because he never had the daily drug. That's why he was unable to compete at Victory Road. :p

Hardy is a asshole regardless what condition he was in. He is a liability to the TNA product and should be sacked! How many chances are TNA gonna give this guy? Its like he is intouchable. Everyone is fully aware he does drugs and he admits this, so why are a company like TNA using him as there poster boy especially when there are young fans that support the company. Does that look good? NO.

Indeed!!

TNA Xplosion:

*Mickie James pinned Rosita.

TNA iMPACT! 3/31:

*We open up with Mr. Anderson dragging down Earl Hebner to the ring and demanding to know why he was DQ'd last week, giving Rob Van Dam the win. Anderson demands the decision be reversed and Hebner refuses, calling Anderson an a**hole. Anderson lays out Hebner. Brian Hebner hits the ring then Sting comes out, saying you don't pick on the referees. He and Anderson began brawling. Rob Van Dam's music hits and he comes out, saying he doesn't want the win that way and asks Hebner to add Anderson to the Lockdown main event. Hebner says he cannot. Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan come out and announce it will indeed be a Three-Way at Lockdown.

Bischoff announces Sting & Anderson & RVD vs Ric Flair's team of Abyss & Matt Hardy & Bully Ray tonight in a Steel Cage, saying the network wants ratings, so he will give it to them.

Sting and Anderson start brawling again but are held apart.

*Scott Steiner defeated Jesse Neal. Orlando Jordan and Eric Young were doing commentary. Doug Williams and Magnus attacked them after.

*Max Buck defeated Jeremy Buck.

*Winter defeated Velvet Sky. Angelina Love came out during the match and left with Winter.

*Ken Anderson called out Sting so he could apologize but slapped him instead. They brawled into the crowd. Abyss, Hardy and Ray attacked them but RVD made the save.

*Kurt Angle calls out Jeff Jarrett saying he's not waiting for Lockdown. Jarrett sends out Rob Terry, who Angle beats. Angle chases Jarrett out.

*In a Steel Cage, Abyss & Matt Hardy & Bully Ray defeated Sting & Anderson & RVD. Sting attacked Anderson on the stage while he was doing his introduction. That left him laid out on the stage and a 3 on 2 situation. Anderson acted as if he didn't want to get in the cage until Hulk Hogan makes Anderson get in. Anderson shoved RVD off the top, setting up Bully Ray's pin. Anderson walked out.

The heels keep beating on RVD and Sting. Fortune hits the ring. Immortal hits the ring. Flair locks the cage and the babyfaces are getting massacred. Christopher Daniels hit the ring from the crowd and hit a flip from the top of the cage, wiping out Immortal. The babyfaces regroup and run off Immortal. Big reaction for Daniels' return.

- Matches for tonight's TNA iMPACT include Crimson & Scott Steiner vs. Ink Inc., Madison Rayne's next open challenge, Gunner vs. Murphy vs. Rob Terry for the Television Title, Hernandez, Sarita & Rosita vs. Winter, Angelina Love & Matt Morgan plus AJ Styles vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Brother Ray in the main event.

Jeff Hardy was described as being "a mess" in the hours that led up to his main event match with Sting at Sunday's Victory Road pay-per-view event. The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion had to be be held as he made his way from outside the Impact! Zone to the staging area behind the entrance curtain. His behavior at the "gorilla position" combined with the manner in which he stumbled during his ring entrance caused management to call an audible mere minutes before the match. Eric Bischoff delivered instructions to both grapplers while cutting his promo and the bout last approximately ninety seconds.

Hardy was not on hand for this week's iMPACT! tapings because management instructed him to go home Monday. While his pack of defenders cited travel fatigue for his more offbeat than usual behavior at the Final Resolution pay-per-view event in December, they have yet to issue a defense for his behavior on Sunday.

Jeff Hardy's court hearing yesterday in Moore County, North Carolina resulted in another continuance due to the district attorney's office waiting on evidence from the State Bureau of Investigation. Hardy has told friends that his legal team has developed a new strategy and that he hopes to have the situation put to rest soon.

Dear OH! Dear!! This guy is a joke aswell as TNA management. How can they call themselfs competition with un-professionalism like this?

* The show opens with a recap from the Victory Road pay-per-view, followed by Sting coming to the ring. He says it’s time to take out the trash and introduces a new design for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, leading to Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan coming out. They say Sting has no right to change what belongs to them. Bully Ray comes out, followed by Fortune and finally Mr. Anderson. They all demand title shots. Bischoff and Hogan make a Fatal 4 Way for the main event between AJ Styles, Bully Ray, Mr. Anderson and Rob Van Dam where the winner will face Sting at Lockdown.

* Crimson and Scott Steiner b. Ink Inc. After the match, Shannon Moore flips out again as Jesse Neal is being a good sport to the winning team.

* “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero has a “healing ritual” with a blind man, a large women and a crippled man. He is interrupted by Samoa Joe and Okada. Dinero escapes before he could be struck.

* TNA Knockout Champion Madison Rayne, with Tara, makes her way to the ring for another open challenge. The challenge is answered by Alissa Flash.

* TNA Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne w/Tara b. Alissa Flash quickly. After the match, Mickie James comes out and challenges Madison to a match at Lockdown for the title. Madison says she will only accept if Mickie puts her hair on the line.

* Jeff and Karen Jarrett for a promo. Jarrett says he is out here tonight to offer a truce to Kurt Angle, which leads to Angle coming out with a guitar that has an American flag attached. Angle hits Jeff with the guitar. Karen attempts to low blow Kurt, but it does not work (wearing a cup). Jeff is bleeding. Kurt challenges Jeff to a match at Lockdown, but Jeff shakes his head no. Kurt says if he doesn’t get what he wants “bad things will happen.” Angle leaves while Jeff continues to bleed.

* Jeremy Borash introduces the next match as a Triple Threat for the vacated TNA Television Championship. Out comes Gunner and Murphy, followed by Rob Terry.

* Gunner b. Murphy and Rob Terry with a slam on Murphy to become the new TNA Television Champion.

* Angelina Love, Matt Morgan and Winter b. Hernandez, Rosita and Sarita after Winter hit a catatonic on Rosita. During the match, the person who interfered during the Hernandez/Morgan match at Victory Road came out, but Morgan ran him and Hernandez off.

* AJ Styles vs. Bully Ray vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Rob Van Dam for the #1 contenders spot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship ends in a no contest when the match gets crazy, fast. AJ and Ray brawl outside of the ring while Anderson and RVD fight in the ring. AJ was about to hit Ray with a chair, but Ric Flair came out and low blowed him, allowing Ray to powerbomb AJ off the stage through a table. Both are looked at by trainers while a medical crew comes out with a stretcher and takes AJ to the hospital as Ray tries to attack AJ and falls. It appears the taping has ended at this point.

Pure shit show!! Really was a let-down. The highlights was the Stinger promo, and the main event but it was nothing special.

Sinn Bodi, the former Kizarny, has been harassing Hulk Hogan on Twitter, asking when he will be brought into TNA. Hogan claims to have taken over TNA creative in his latest post to Bodi… @SiNNbODHi just took over creative 3weeks ago, shoot. Now I understand why nobody is using you HH

-- While he said he was via Twitter above, Hulk Hogan is not in control of TNA creative. Word is that Hogan is less involved than he had been over the last year and that, "he'd have to show up to be running creative."

-- Hogan has been heavily involved in the Micro Championship Wrestling series as we've been reporting.

-- As noted last week here on the website, Eric Bischoff has moved up within the TNA hierarchy.

It was announced on TNA iMPACT! that Sting would defend the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at next month's Lockdown pay-per-view against a challenger to be determined. A No. 1 Contender's Match between AJ Styles, Bully Ray, Mr. Anderson and Rob Van Dam to determine who would face Sting at the pay-per-view event resulted in a No Decision.

Earlier in the show, Madison Rayne said she would defend the TNA Women's Knockouts Championship against Mickie James on the condition that James put her hair on the line. The multi-time WWE Women's Champion accepted the challenge.

Also announced was a Lockdown Cage Match between Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett.

Lockdown Cage Match - TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match:
Sting (c) vs. (challenger to be determined)

Lockdown Cage Match:
Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett

Lockdown Cage Match - TNA Women's Knockout Championship Match:
Madison Rayne (c) vs. Mickie James
(James' hair is on the line)

Thank god Hogan is not in charge of creative now. He has been a epic fail for the company IMO.

The less I see Hogan on T.V the better I feel watching the product. Im hoping Lockdown is a good PPV for TNA and we dont see stupid interferences/run-ins and clean finishes. Of course I doubt that will happen. Please to god! do not Bull Ray be apart of the main event as he is not Heavyweight caliber material and does not to help TNA grow. Im hoping it will have AJ, but know its going to be Anderson or RVD. Im sure there will be a Immortal vs Fortune leathal lockdown match.

Jeff Hardy updates:
Brother Ray and Brother Devon were were scheduled to have a big blowoff to their feud at TNA Lockdown but their feud has been put on hold as Ray is now replacing Jeff Hardy in the storylines.

- Dixie Carter, who has been quiet on Twitter lately, was in attendance for last week's Victory Road pay-per-view and then Monday's iMPACT tapings but then left for Mexico.

- As noted before, Jeff Hardy's March 16th court date was re-scheduled to April 20th. The Southern Pines Pilot has more details on the state waiting for testing results from the drugs that were found at Hardy's home in 2009.

Hardy's attorney was ready to take a plea bargain this past week but the District Attorney told him that they were still waiting on test results from the drugs. The DA wanted a June 2nd hearing but the judge asked if they could be ready in 30 days and Hardy's lawyer said he could. The judge ordered that the test results be rushed and then set the court date for next month. With Hardy's lawyer ready to accept a plea deal, it sounds like the case will finally be coming to an end.

Wrestlers in TNA are under the impression that Jeff Hardy will be brought back as a babyface soon. No one expects him to be fired.
And last but not least:
The backstage morale after this past week's iMPACT tapings was very low. People in TNA are down on the company's direction more than ever.

Jeff as a face? I won't work. No one will cheer for him.

Well its TNA managements own fault for the the direction they are heading. Dixie Carter is the biggest mug of them all cause she was a fool to hire Hogan/Bishcoff in the first place. I feel for the younger more talented talented that are being wasted in stupid storylines. I know its been said many times but this is WCW part 2. They will never learn and will only fall if things keep going like this.

@Jeff Hardy turning face= :flunk:

Double J books live events well. I think he should be the head writer of T.N.A.
And he is taking time what the youth should so he would appear once in a while but i would not miss him. xD
