The textures for the SPECIAL, DANGER, and LOSING IT! texts were among the first textures that I finished, long before I decided to give the spirit bars themselves a makeover. They are in the same style as the other text I have done. Nothing to discuss there.
The white spirit meter is just the "flash" texture that creates a flash effect when your spirit is at max and you can trigger your special. The P1, P2, P3, P4, and CP texts on the spirit bars will not change on those. The idea is to create the illusion that the background of the meter is what is flashing, but not the player indicator.
Wait... did I just give away that I'm doing spirit meters for matches with up to 4 players? I think I just did.
