Recently watched Batman Year One and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (both parts)

I thought Batman TDKR was great, and I would especially recommend it for anyone who didn't like Nolan's last Batman film.

Batman Year One was awful. Poor narrative, Batman has the strength to kick a tree, and the entire dialogue could have been on a post-it. What was the point of

Just watched Godzirra 2014. I was so excited for this after watching the trailers a few months back. I thought it was going to be an epic. This summers blockbuster...

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!

How wrong could someone be? I don't think I've ever been so disappointed and flat out furious after watching a movie before. The director, producers and writers involved in this abomination should never have another job in the film industry again. It's crazy how bad this flick is.

Yeah, me too. I was expecting a fantastic reboot, in a similar fashion to The Dark Knight franchise. I thought it might of just been my mood going in to this, but I've since read a lot of reviews on imdb and a lot of people are now slating it left right and centre.

I've just Googled that Bojack and the poster looks pretty funny so I'll have to give that a watch soon.

I fractured my shoulder a few weeks ago so I've had a lot of free time to catch up with movies/TV. I'm up to season 4 on Game of Thrones. Obviously I'm enjoying it somewhat, but I do feel it's a little overrated. I've also been watching Cosmos: A Space Time Odyssey which is fucking brilliant! Even better than Coxy's Wonders series.

I'm unsure what to watch next. I haven't seen the Walking Dead, The Wire, Dexter, or Boardwalk Empire to name a few popular shows. Anyone have any recommendations?

I'd pick Boardwalk Empire over the others on your list, it's fantastic. The Wire and Walking Dead are definitely good, but Boardwalk is one of my current favs.

I'm not sure the selection of shows on Netflix over there, but if you haven't seen Stephen King's The Stand, it's a load of fun!

Concerning Game of Thrones, I love that show. Can't help it. Total mark.

Yeah, I've got four episodes of season four left to watch then I'll give Boardwalk Empire a shot. I like Steve Buscemi but I've never seen him play a serious role, so this should be interesting.
