Just watched The Thing (2011). I loved the first movie but, this one just seemed a bit off. Even for The Thing it was a bit over the top.

Once The Thing ran back to its spaceship and they had an action scene there... I almost turned it off.

But, the credits/ending really tied the end of this movie in with the beginning of the first The Thing. Not much of a spoiler (unless you count a 20+ year old movie) but, seeing how the Norwegians, from the first movie, started chasing the dog was a fantastic touch.

I've been nervous to watch that movie, I still have the original on VHS and it is a personal favorite.

I just might, now.
